We were in charge of the contextual redesign of a long-established sports bar, which is the only one of its kind in Kobe, when it moved to a new location. The theme of the project was to pursue the diversity and appeal of sports, and to create an environment where people with different backgrounds can feel at one with each other.

We attempted to create a sense of unity by blending diverse materials such as tile, wood, mortar, glass, and steel, making the most of the characteristics of each material. Monitors placed in each area create a sense of realism and unity, and movable seats were introduced to create a flexible space that can be used not only for watching sports but also for various other purposes. In addition to the food, beverage, and event space, a merchandising corner was also created to provide a multifaceted sports experience.

The interior was designed to be a place for the creation and propagation of a new sports culture, focusing on the balance of various materials and displays that symbolize the past, present, and future, and actively incorporating photographs of highlight scenes as a historical element.
